The wedding attire is Summer Semi-Formal. This includes a long or short dress or jumpsuit for the ladies. For men, a suit jacket or blazer with dress pants will work. Please, no jeans or shorts. We'd love to see our friends and family dressed up in the vibrant colors and patterns of summer. Think bright, cheery, and floral! We can't wait to capture everlasting moments with you in your fabulous outfits.

Our ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception will take place outdoors weather impending . The average temperature at Walloon Lake in June is 68 degrees, however, this is Michigan and it can do ANYTHING. Please plan your outfit accordingly! In case of inclement weather, the wedding will be moved indoors.

Our wedding is strictly RSVP only. We are only able to accommodate those listed on your invitation.

To allow all wedding guests, including parents, a night of relaxation and uninhibited revelry, we respectfully ask that no children attend the wedding weekend. Thank you for your understanding.

The ceremony starts at 4:30 PM and will be followed by a cocktail hour on site. The reception will start around 6:00 PM and luckily for you, it's just a short walk from the cocktail hour!

We love photos! We do ask that you refrain from taking photos during the ceremony, we’d like that time to be unplugged. For the rest of the wedding, we encourage guests to post pictures using our wedding hashtag #thegrundzels so we can see them, too!

Yes! This IS a wedding weekend of course. You are invited to RSVP and attend a number of different weekend activities including an outdoor welcome party, laid-back golf, and Northern Michigan wine tasting! Please RSVP if you will be attending.
