Alyssa & Michael joined Match.com on the same day in 2017. When they had their first date on December 10, 2017, it lasted 9 1/2 hours! Alyssa & Michael walked through the record store, ate endless sushi, walked around town, talked about Pokémon & video games, reminisced on their family with shared Italian roots & ended the date in a coffee shop. They both didn't want the date to end. Knowing Alyssa loved Disney, Michael surprised Alyssa with Coco tickets during their first date. When the movie ended, they shared their first kiss in the theater. Sparks flew the moment Alyssa & Michael's eyes met that day & they have been inseparable since.

Throughout their relationship, Alyssa & Michael have supported each other nonstop. Alyssa went back to school to follow her passion of becoming a teacher, with Michael cheering her on every step of the way. Michael changed his career & has been working hard in human resources, earning himself a promotion & high praise at his company over the past 5 years. Alyssa & Michael have pushed each other out of darkness & into positive habits. Over the past 6 years, Alyssa & Michael have proven to be a powerful team & each other's soul mate.

In 2020, Alyssa & Michael booked a trip to France that they were so excited for. The pandemic hit, & their trip was unfortunately postponed multiple times, then cancelled. Alyssa & Michael spent 2 months quarantined from each other, only able to video chat. They were heartbroken, especially Michael, who had custom made Alyssa's dream ring to propose to her on the trip in Paris.
