Dominic & Alyssa met in High School where their instant chemistry lead to a great friendship. This friendship lasted throughout the years of college and even into adulthood. There was never anything romantic about their friendship for the many years that they knew each other.

As adults Alyssa became a newly single mother in the beginning of the pandemic. Seeing as both Dominic & Alyssa worked where they lived they began to hang out again just as friends. They stayed up late talking about photography and music as they usually did. This still didn't turn into anything romantic as they were both not really ready for that type of relationship.

Fast forward to the Fall when Alyssa moved into her first small rental home with her daughter Emma. Dominic lived just down the street and being newly single he and Alyssa started to hang out quite frequently. Alyssa invited Dominic on a trip to Marfa, Tx where she was to shoot an elopement in Big Bend. This trip they really bonded & Dominic got to have his first experience babysitting Alyssa's daughter Emma. It was quite the eye opener, but also led them both to kind of imagine life if they were to explore a romantic relationship.

Naturally over the next few weeks they got closer to each other and made it official in October of 2021. It was an instant sort of connection that was solidified by their years of comfort with each other. There was a sort of peace and home that Alyssa had been missing all these years that she found in Dominic. They truly began to realize what the meaning of love really is as they grew stronger as a couple. The "close friends" relationship had turned into a love that neither one of them expected.

On April 9th, 2022 Dominic asked Alyssa to spend forever with him & she said yes! So now we are happy to invite you all to be a part of our narrative and join us to celebrate our love for one another.
