The matchmakers Abby, maid of honor, and Bryce, best man, were hard at work for over a year. They would mention ideas to Nathan and Alyssa at different times wondering if they would ever want to go out on a date together. Nathan was easy to convince, but Alyssa was another story. Abby tried convincing Alyssa so many times and after a couple more tries Alyssa finally said yes! Nathan picked Alyssa up for their first date on Tuesday, April 12th, 2022. They went to Maggiano’s Italian restaurant and Brewtop afterwards. Nathan had Alyssa cackling her loud, real laugh not even 20 minutes into the date. It was the best first date they had ever been on! Bubba and Thadius fell in love with Nathan just like Alyssa did every day following that first perfect date. Now the rest is history and they’re getting married!
