The ceremony and reception will both be on the rooftop of the Moonrise Hotel. The ceremony will be outside on the Rooftop Terrace and reception will be in the Twilight Room. When you enter the hotel, take the elevator all the way to the top floor and you'll be right at the venue.
What time is the Ceremony and Reception?
The ceremony will start promptly at 6:30pm. Guests are welcome to start entering the venue at 6:00pm. Guests will be allowed to enter the Twilight Room for the reception at 7:00pm.
Where do I park?
Public parking is located behind the hotel, but spaces are on a first come, first served basis. Additional public parking is also available throughout The Loop, but potentially at a much further distance from the hotel. Please plan accordingly.
What is the dress code?
We would prefer you to wear semi-formal or cocktail attire. No jeans or ripped clothes, please.
The wedding party colors will be burgundy and gray.
All guests must wear shoes for the entire event, so please bring comfortable shoes for dancing.
What happens if it rains?
We do have an indoor location for the ceremony planned in the event that it does rain. We will make the decision to have an indoor wedding the morning of and will make sure everyone knows where to go. Thankfully, the majority of the Twilight Room is indoors, so the reception location will not change.
Can I bring my children?
Our venue space is limited, so please only bring the members of your family listed on your invitation. Feel free to reach out to us if you have any questions.
Where can I smoke or vape?
If anyone wishes to smoke or vape, there will be a specific covered location on the balcony to do so.
Can I take photos?
Please do not take photos during our ceremony! We will have a professional photographer taking photos throughout the ceremony and reception. You are welcome to take photos during the reception with respect to the photographer. We also welcome you to share your photos on social media the day after the wedding.
