What currency does Aruba use?

Aruba accepts all major credit cards, traveler's checks, American dollars (USD), and the Aruban Florin. A lot of places have started to go cashless so credit cards are recommended.

Will my cellphone work in Aruba?

Yes, many cell phone providers like Verizon, AT&T, T-Mobile, or Sprint will have international plans available. Be sure to ask your provider before flying to Aruba. There is complimentary wifi almost everywhere on the island.

Can I rent a car?

Yes. There are several Aruba Car Rental companies are present at the airport for you to pick up or drop off your vehicle or you can request pick-up at your hotel. How do I get around the island?

There are no Uber or Lyft services on the island however, Taxis are very common and if you're staying in Noord, most restaurants and shops are within walking distance. There are electric scooters available to rent that can be picked up and dropped off at different locations on the island (Bird Scooters).

What is the weather like?

Aruba is always hot, sunny & windy. It rarely rains. The sun is very very powerful so we highly recommend all kinds of sun protection. You have been warned lol. Nights are typically warm with a cool breeze.

Is the water in Aruba safe to consume?

Yes. Since there is no source of freshwater on the island, seawater is distilled in a saltwater desalination plant. The water they produce is super pure. It meets the highest quality standard set by the World Health Organization. We recommend packing a reusable water bottle to carry with you.

Can I take photo and/or video during the ceremony?

No. The ceremony will be unplugged. We kindly ask you to leave your cellphones on silent and put away. We love our photographer and we promise you will too.

How do I communicate with the Bride & Groom during our stay?

A whatsapp group will be created closer to the wedding date for any questions or concerns during your stay.
