Lucas and Alyssa met the modern way: by swiping right on Hinge [swoon!] in 2021. On their first date, Alyssa was met with a beautiful, single red rose that Lucas selected for her. He drove the both of them to Molly's, a bar with vast patio space in Soulard. They talked over drinks and even danced the night away! They've been inseparable ever since.

A few of Lucas and Alyssa's favorite memories from their time together: Attending many concerts and cardinals' games, grabbing drinks and pizza at Bud's on the Washington Riverfront, working side by side and passing love notes at Rawlings, and our Sunday movie nights complete with popcorn.

Lucas proposed to Alyssa on an early Saturday morning. He had driven her out to New Town St. Charles, and they romantically strolled towards the fountain. Lucas made sure he went down on his left knee and asked Alyssa, "Will you marry me?" and she didn't hesitate to say, "Yes!". They then went to have a delicious breakfast at the Original Pancake House.
