Nestled one block from the brick streets in historic downtown Nacogdoches, the oldest town in Texas, sits the Fredonia Brewery. The name originates from the short-lived but influential Fredonia Rebellion and the Fredonia Republic 1826 -1827. This uprising signaled the beginnings of the Texas Revolution. Our town celebrated its 300th-anniversary in 2016, and they are proud to be the first brewery here since the 1850s.
Banita Creek Hall is a country dance hall that comes alive around 9:30 pm on Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights! Located not even a mile from downtown Nacogdoches. If you like to dance, just hang out with friends or play pool and washers, this is the place to be.
