Our Story

Alyssa and Josh’s story began on May 4, 2022, in Seattle, Washington—a day neither of them will ever forget. It was, as they’ll both admit, love at first sight. Josh had just finished baseball practice when Alyssa, out for a walk, was introduced to him by one of their mutual friends. The connection was instant, and within 24 hours, they were on their first date, talking for hours and sharing stories. From that moment on, they were inseparable, quickly falling head over heels for each other. Soon after they met, Josh finished school and moved back to Arizona, and they faced the challenge of a long-distance relationship. But their love only grew stronger with time. Over the next two years, they leaned into their faith and trust in each other, finding ways to stay connected through endless text messages, FaceTime calls, and flights back and forth between Arizona and Seattle. They never wavered in their commitment, and their bond flourished despite the distance. When Alyssa graduated, she moved to Arizona to begin a new chapter with Josh. In their first few months together, they bought a house, started new jobs, and welcomed a sweet puppy, Rosie, to join their family—alongside their beloved 3-year-old Frenchie, Rocky. Then, on December 7, as they were planning a holiday photoshoot, Josh surprised Alyssa by proposing. It was a moment filled with love, joy, and gratitude for the faith that had guided them through every step of their journey. Their love and faith in each other have been their foundation, and they’re both beyond excited to begin this next chapter together, knowing that with God’s grace, their story will continue to unfold in beautiful ways.
