Thanks to my sister and mutual friends, Tristan and I met in the Summer of 2016. We dated later that Fall, and in January of 2017 the day before his birthday, Tristan took me to Olive Garden for a date (he says because he thought this was my favorite restaurant at the time) where he asked me to be his girlfriend. I said yes, and the rest was history!

Most of the 6 years we dated were spent long distance, but we never let that come between us. We traveled every other weekend to see each other, even when he attended Chiropractic school in Dallas.

April 14th, the day before his graduation, Tristan planned to have graduation pictures done at The Dallas Arboretum. Tristan intended to take graduation pictures, but I guess he was so frazzled he actually forgot his cap and gown after we'd already left. So the photo shoot turned into a full-blown couples shoot. We came to a beautiful grass area with the lake behind us and that's where Tristan proposed. I made the best decision of my life that day, and I cannot wait to see what this life has in store for us.
