Our Wedding

Nathan and Alyssa met while both working at the restaurant Carmine's Steakhouse and there was an immediate attraction between them. Nathan first made his move during a busy baseball post-season. After over-hearing Alyssa complaining about sore feet, he asked her out on their first date to get pedicures. Things quickly began to build from there and the two established their relationship after spending the holidays together. They moved in together after a few short months and together have adopted two cats and a dog. When Nathan's son Logan became an important part of their life, Alyssa passionately took on the supporting role which brought the two closer than ever. Family is very important to both of them and has been an influential part of their relationship. During Thanksgiving 2015, Alyssa's father presented them with her grandmother's wedding ring. Together they created a ring that represented their love story, as well as keeping the integrity of her grandparents past; and when Nathan was ready he proposed on the steps of the Art Hill Fountain in Forest Park on a gorgeous July afternoon. They are enthusiastically awaiting to start the next chapter of their lives as husband and wife.

Dominique and Alyssa have been close friends for the past 6 years. They consider themselves to be "sisters" at heart. Dominique owns a professional makeup company called Enhanced Beauty Artistry, LLC and will be providing make-up services for the bridal party.

We are so excited to share our special day with our loved friends and family. This also means we want you all to be safe leaving our wedding. We highly recommend safe transport or staying at our reserved hotel. There will be a 1 time shuttle that will take guests to and from the hotel. Augusta is a quaint little winery town that will provide the backdrop for Alyssa and Nathan's nuptials. This town has amenities available that include restaurants, over-night accommodations, salon/spas, and of course wineries.

Katy trail is 237 mile trail that runs through the Defiance/Augusta area and continues across the state of Missouri. If staying for the weekend, this is great recommendation for an outdoor activity that provides beautiful scenery as well as great exercise.
