Our story is one you could call fate. Josh started by laying a trap: a photo of a dog on his dating profile that in reality was really his sister's. Despite the deceitful deception, Alyssa took the bait, leading to their first date where Josh promptly confused her for another girl and picked a spot that NEITHER of them actually lived near (He would not admit this for many moons.) Using his wooful powers of immature humor and wearing a hat to hide his SLIGHTLY THINNING hairline, he spun his web of love, laughter, and laziness. It took only one date for the dominoes (of love) to fall and for Alyssa to quickly forgive Josh for "leaving out" the truth of his sister's dog in his dating profile (or his job).
Their love continued to grow, whether through emailing each other while Josh was underway in the Navy or playing board games and making dinner for each other (Alyssa lost 99% of those games FYI.) Despite cross-country moves and career shifts, they ended up settling in San Diego, the city where they fell in love. They enjoy brewery-hopping while playing cards and taking their dog Ramsey on strolls where he is an absolute nightmare to try to walk. Ramsey thoroughly enjoys his time in the California sunshine while munching on chimpkin and will be thrilled to play his role as the "Ring-Bubby" on the big day. He will then get bored after about half an hour, pee on anything green, tactically evade anybody trying to restrain him, and bark at any squirrel within a 200 ft radius before chasing them down, failing miserably, and laying in a corner where nobody can see him.
We are beyond excited to see everyone and we hope you not only have an amazing time celebrating our big day but also preemptively forgiving us for anything Ramsey may or may not pee on (such as you) as he, too, will be excited to celebrate with everyone (and will express this by peeing on you in a loving manner).
