Our Wedding

A connection through food led them to an unbreakable bond and love to last a lifetime. A search for culinary knowledge and experience led Alyssa to Chicago where her and Nick immediately found each other. Not even days after her move, they were inseparable. So much so, they started working together for Michelin starred chefs around the city. Four years later, they're living together in Metro Detroit and working as Pastry and Sous Chef of SheWolf Pastificio. Their dreams are big, and their love for each other is even bigger.

Friends for over 20 years, Emma and Alyssa have an unbreakable friendship. Through years of childhood memories and grown up adventures, they could write a book about their bond! Which is the reason she'll be the one right beside Alyssa on her special day!

EMMA

Alyssa's older sister, they've been through thick and thin together. So many stories to tell from their childhood, time spent in California, and watching Jovanna's boys grow. An irreplaceable older sister that's only fitting as a Maid of Honor.

JOVANNA

Alyssa's younger sister, watching her grow into the beautiful young woman she is today is an unspeakable joy of life. How wonderful it has been to have a little sister become a best friend. A bridesmaid since day one!

ALASANDRIA

Alyssa's oldest niece, she's the one to make Alyssa the Fun Aunt she is today! Watching Luciana grow into the beautiful young lady today and all the memories that come with it, is the reason she'll be by Alyssa's side on her special day.

LUCIANA

Alyssa's second niece, she brought another joy into the growing DiStefano family. Another beautiful young lady who was always meant to stand by her Aunt's side on her special day.

AUBRIELLA

Alyssa's sister-in-law, the day she married Joey was the day Alyssa gained a new big sister. Such a rock in our family, the bridal party would not be complete without her!

SARA

Alyssa's high school best friend, their time together could write an entire coming of age story! Memories of sleepovers, concerts, and pure laughter is the reason she'll be a special part of the bridal party on Alyssa's special day!

MADELINE

Alyssa's soon to be sister-in-law, Nick's beloved older sister. When Alyssa met Nick, she also gained an incredibly smart and supportive sister. With so many memories already, and so many more to make, she will be an incredible addition to the bridal party!

ANDREA

One of Nick's first college friends and roommate of 6 years, their friendship has only grown stronger with time. They'd travelled the world for each other, and have! Another reason he'll be the one right beside Nick on his big day.

NOLAN

Friends for more than 2 decades, Ethan and Nick have always had each other's backs. They have had so many years of memories growing up, they are as close as two friends can be. It only makes sense that he'd be on his side to start this new chapter in life.  

ETHAN

Nick's older brother, Jake and Nick have memories for a lifetime. Always being the supportive big brother, Nick could not thank him enough which makes him a perfect addition to the party.

JAKE

A high school friend and Nick's first college roommate, these two know each other for better or worse. Whether he was a friend to go to concerts with or a guy to hang and play video games with late he's always a laid back hang perfect for the wedding party. 

KEVIN T

Another friend Nick met day one of college, Pat was always down for a good time. You could almost always find Pat at a Sox game, which is a common place for him and Nick to catch up. And that loyalty to his team matches his loyalty to his friend, welcome to the party!

PAT K

Nick, Kevin, and Ethan grew up in the same neighborhood causing a ruckus since day one. Even as Nick and Kevin moved away, they still hung out on video games well into the late hours of the night. Kevin is always a level headed good guy to talk with for hours and Nick can't wait for him to be part of the party. 

KEVIN L

The loveable brother-in-law Pat has been a part of the family for a decade. While he is always making everyone laugh with his songs and characters, he is a corner stone of the family. He is a wise comedian offering surprisingly perfect advice at the perfect times making him yet another perfect addition to the wedding party. 

PAT D

Nick's future brother-in-law, Joey immediately made Nick feel like part of the family. Occasionally asking for cooking advice or being able to recite any Detroit sport fact makes his great to talk to at family parties, Joey is a lovable guy. While Nick can't wait to become officially part of the family, he is happy to have Joey as officially part of the wedding party!

How do I get to and from the venue?

If checking into and keeping your car at the hotel, a shuttle will be provided to and from the venue.

There is a large free parking lot available right outside the venue.

Are children invited?

While we love your kiddos, this ceremony and reception will be child free.

Travel

One of the country’s largest farmers market, this historic Detroit staple is a must visit. Five sheds dedicated to local produce, plants, and specialty goods! Open from 7am-4pm every Saturday.

Eastern Market

A major art museum in Detroit, Michigan, known for its encyclopedic collection of over 65,000 works spanning global cultures and time periods, from ancient to contemporary art. It is considered one of the top art museums in the U.S., famous for highlights like Diego Riveras Detroit Industry murals and its diverse holdings in American, European, African, Asian, and Native American art.

Detroit Institute Of Arts

Located directly behind the Detroit Renaissance Center. Highly acclaimed, 3.5 to 5.5-mile pathway along the Detroit River, connecting downtown to parks, restaurants, and attractions with stunning views of Canada.

Detroit Riverwalk

A small island on the Detroit River, between Michigan and Canada, this 985 acre park is definitely worth the visit. Stop at the Belle Isle Aquarium to check out some finned friends. Next door is the beautiful and newly updated Anna Scripps Whitcomb Conservatory, a historical botanical garden featuring five climate controlled rooms and 12 acres of outdoor gardens.
