Mike and Alyssa met online through mutual friends in 2012. When they finally met in person for the first time, it was as if they had known each other their entire lives. "I'm going to call you tomorrow...and you better answer!" said Mike when they said goodbye that night, and Alyssa knew right then and there Mike was hooked ;). Haha, but seriously, they both knew once they met, there was no way there ever would be a world without each other.

Fast forward to December 6th, 2019. After 7 years, on a cold December night, Mike and Alyssa went to The Christmas Village in Philadelphia like they do every year. After walking around, looking at all the shops and Christmas decorations, Mike found a quiet spot to get down on one knee to say those four little words Alyssa had been dying to hear for years-- "will you marry me?". Alyssa, in slight disbelief of what she was hearing, said, "wait, are you serious?! Really?!" Mike laughed and responded, "yes, of course I'm serious. Will you marry me?" There was only one answer that Alyssa could ever give to him, and it was "yes!".

After celebrating the holidays and their engagement with their loved ones, the two began the wedding planning! Venue after venue they would tour but never really found "the one". Then, as you all know, March 2020 was about to change everything for them. Once the pandemic hit, the wedding planning quickly came to halt. As time passed, the longer the pandemic continued on, which made it nearly impossible to tour venues and continue the planning. Ultimately, wedding planning came to a halt.

BUT NOW, FINALLY, after many trials, tribulations, bumps in the road, yada yada, Mike and Alyssa are ready to celebrate with their family and friends! They cannot wait to finally celebrate their love and hope to celebrate with you all!
