Taylor and Alyssa met through an online university assignment. Both were living in Florida and working for HCA as dietitians while obtaining their masters degree through TWU! With so much in common from careers to being gym rats to being dog lovers it’s no surprise their friendship grew close.

Alyssa and Chelsea have been friends since they were kids. They first met and bonded over their love of horses. What started as casual trail rides led to a whirlwind of competitive horse showing and travel during their teen years where they spent their summers together in Michigan. Today, they still bond over horses. Once a horse girl, always a horse girl.

Maddie and Alyssa became friends while living miles apart. They bonded over everything from life chats to matching tabby cats. Alyssa was lucky enough to watch Maddie become a beautiful bride not long ago and can’t wait to have her by her side on wedding day.

Kristi and Alyssa met at Anytime Fitness in Temple, Texas. Alyssa was a personal trainer at the time and Kristi was an avid gym goer! They both developed a strong interest in bodybuilding which brought their friendship closer together as they spent many hours prepping for shows together. Nothing bonds you quite like insane amounts of heavy weights and cardio!

We met during what can only be described as a beautiful mess—college, where we were both barely hanging on and somehow still laughing through the chaos. From stress cries to late-night snack runs and existential spirals, she became the calm in my storm and the friend who always knew how to make me feel grounded. She’s seen every version of me and loved me through them all. She’s my “something blue”—for her loyalty, depth, and the kind of friendship that feels like coming home.

Colton and my Shane met while working together at Publix, starting out as baggers and stockers before Colton moved into produce. Their friendship grew even stronger when they lived together in South Venice, bonding over early lifting weights and tagging along on each other’s family vacations.

Greg and Shane met playing in the church band at The Bridge—Greg on bass and Shane on drums. Their shared love of music turned into a close friendship, and they eventually became roommates while living in Fort Myers during college.

Phil and Shane met at Grace Community Bible Church and quickly became close friends. They later lived together in South Venice, where their friendship continued to grow through shared routines, laughs, and plenty of late-night conversations.

Cory and Shane met while working as stockers at Publix, and their friendship has only strengthened over the years. They were college roommates in Fort Myers, where Shane was working in the jail, and now both serve in law enforcement. From Publix to public service, they’ve been through it all together.

My sweet niece will be our flower girl, and we couldn’t be more excited! She lives in Kentucky, where she’s busy with middle school and her love for archery, but every summer we get to spend special time together swimming and heading to the beach in Florida. She brings so much joy, laughter, and sunshine into our lives, and I can’t wait to see her light up the aisle on our wedding day.
