This is how it all began:

Jacque decided we'd be a good match and had us add each other on Snapchat 2 days before Lucas's birthday on June 8th, 2022. We officially met in person a few days later at a Rockhounds game with Betenbough. A month later is when we actually started dating when I thought we already were.

1 year and 7 months later while we were visiting his family on a random weekend in February, he popped the question. He was so nervous he rambled on about the ring size and forgot to ask the question, so I made him ask before answering, lol.

The last 2 years we have traveled internationally on vision trips with Betenbough. In July 2023 we went to Belgium which was so pretty (I recommend everyone to go one day), however, we helped with a sports camp that had a project going on at a local school. We ended up building a seating area outside on the playground.

This past June we went to Costa Rica which was fun but so, so, humid. We built a house for a family that came from Nicaragua. Our team beat the other in a bet the locals had made on who finishes first, and we were all surprised at how far ahead of schedule we were for only having 3 days to work. The best part was ending that trip at the beach.

We still plan on traveling for the rest of our lives and continue to make memories with the people we love.

After all of this, here we are planning a wedding and trying to decide on a honeymoon spot along with a place to live lol.
