We first met at MGM, where we both went to high school and I remember the first time she caught my eye. It was our senior year, and the first class we ever had together. We sat across the room from each other. We would always make eye contact with one another, but neither one of us were brave enough to start a conversation with the other. One day, I built up the courage to "hit her up" and snap chat Alyssa (a modern day romance) and I knew that she was special. Eventually, I asked her out on a date and it was by far one of the most nervous times of my life. Our first date at Chill frozen yogurt in the heart of Semmes, AL was exciting and nerve racking. Little did we know that it was the first date of many to come for forever. After several times seeing each other, I grew crazy over her and wanted her to be my girlfriend. I ended up popping the first big question for her to be my girlfriend at O'Charlie's while she had a mouth full of potato soup. She gave a reassuring answer of "sure".
After her attending so many of my baseball games and zero volleyball games attended by myself, our love for each other grew by the day. I ended up with a beautiful prom date just like all of the cheesy romance movies. Seeing that woman of Wilmer catch a number of bass, I knew she was my soulmate. I will always be glad to get the fish off the hook for her while she panics. I knew that this was the crazy, beautiful woman that I want to spend forever with.
The past years spent with her were so amazing that I planned a surprise trip to Desoto, AL asked Alyssa to be my wife after hiking an expert level trail to a beautiful waterfall. Getting on my knee I was so sure of myself and was not the nervous boy I was in Chill. I am so excited to see where life takes us and to celebrate her becoming my bride with all of our friends and family.
