Booking Flights: There are no straight flights to Naples (from America) so be careful when booking your flight, pay SUPER CLOSE attention to how long your layovers are. Also to note, there are TWO different airports in Rome so if you choose to pop over there first and stay a couple days, be sure you get to the right airport (in Rome) when flying to Naples.

Arriving to Naples: It is about an 1 1/2 drive to Positano (I DO NOT recommend renting a car as the roads are INSANE, and traffic is CRAY!). We have a trusty driver that has honored the rate of ____ per trip. If I were you, I would coordinate with others and split the cost for the best price!
