Yellowstone National Park is approximately 80 miles (about a 1.5-hour drive) from Bozeman, MT, depending on which park entrance you use. The closest entrance is the North Entrance at Gardiner, MT.

Hyalite Reservoir, located just south of Bozeman, Montana, is a beautiful area popular for hiking and outdoor activities.

1. Hyalite Canyon Trail: - Distance: About 8 miles round trip - Difficulty: Moderate - Highlights: This trail follows the Hyalite Creek and leads to stunning views of the canyon, waterfalls, and wildlife.

2. Hyalite Reservoir Loop: - Distance: Approximately 3 miles - Difficulty: Easy to moderate - Highlights: A scenic loop around the reservoir, perfect for a leisurely hike. You'll enjoy views of the water and surrounding mountains.

3. Beartooth Trail: - Distance: Varies, with many connecting trails - Difficulty: Moderate to challenging - Highlights: This trail offers access to several beautiful alpine lakes and meadows, with panoramic views of the Beartooth Mountains.

4. Emerald Lake Trail: - Distance: About 4 miles round trip - Difficulty: Moderate - Highlights: A short hike that leads to a stunning emerald-colored lake, surrounded by rocky peaks.

We’ve had an absolute blast horseback riding with Jake’s Horses in Big Sky! The experience was unforgettable, and we can't recommend it enough if you're looking for a fun and adventurous way to explore the area.

Chico Hot Springs is about 30 miles from downtown Bozeman, typically taking around 40 minutes to drive. It’s a beautiful scenic route, so it’s a lovely trip!

Norris Hot Springs is a natural oasis in Montana’s Paradise Valley, featuring soothing mineral waters, live music, and a laid-back, rustic atmosphere.

Downtown Bozeman combines outdoor charm and urban culture. Stroll along Main Street, filled with boutique shops, art galleries, and cozy cafes, and enjoy local farm-to-table eateries and craft breweries. The lively atmosphere features street performers and seasonal events, making it a great spot to experience the community spirit against a backdrop of historic architecture and stunning mountains.
