It all started with a 70's-themed birthday party and a little matchmaking from their friend Kayla. She told Alyssa (but conveniently forgot to tell Dave) that she was coming to meet him. So there he was, in full disco attire—talk about a first impression! They ended up talking the entire night and, in a crazy twist of fate, discovered they actually lived across the street from each other.

A week later, they had their first date at a neighborhood restaurant, Yeppa, where they sat and talked until closing time. From that moment on, they were inseparable-spending their days taking long walks with Dave's golden retriever, Bauer, traveling to new places, and making incredible memories together.

Their first trip as a couple took them to Chicago, followed by a fun visit to Dave’s parents house for Christmas in New Jersey. The next summer, they explored Europe together, visiting Italy, France, and Spain.

Then, on December 30th 2024, in the heart of Central Park, Dave completely surprised Alyssa. He suggested they take some photos, and as they posed for the camera, Dave pulled a ring from his pocket, got down on one knee, and asked Alyssa to marry him. Without hesitation, she said yes!
