How We Met

It was as if fate had woven its thread between them from the very beginning. In the summer of 2017, Jordan and Alyssa locked eyes for the first time at a Walmart with a Subway inside. Alyssa, a sandwich artist, was creating her masterpieces, while Jordan rang up customers as a cashier. The connection was immediate—every glance and every smile shared between them spoke a language only their hearts could understand. They found excuses to cross paths, Jordan stopping by for a sandwich on his lunch break, and Alyssa swinging by his register after her shift to pick up groceries. With each passing day, the bond grew stronger, until one day, Jordan finally found the courage to ask for her number. And from that moment, their story began.

Our Engagement

It was one of those crisp, quiet night in September 2023 in the Poconos—where the sky stretches wide and clear, and the stars seem just a little bit closer.We had escaped to a cozy Airbnb tucked into the woods, surrounded by tall trees and wrapped in the soft glow of string lights that hung like fireflies frozen in time. There was a magic in the air—maybe it was the scent of pine, the stillness of the forest, or just the feeling of being completely present with each other.After a long day and beautiful dinner at Kalahari, laughing, and losing track of time, we ended the evening outside under those lights. The sky above us was alive with stars, and everything felt perfectly still. That’s when it happened. Jordan led me down a path where cloth was hung and photos of moments of us hung.In that quiet moment, with nothing but the hum of nature around us, sounds of soft music, and the sparkle of the lights overhead, Jordan dropped to a knee and asked the question that would change our lives forever.There were happy tears and a “yes of course” that echoed through the trees. It was simple and beautiful.We got engaged under the stars, surrounded by love, close family, nature, and the softest kind of magic.

Passport Info

If you are traveling with us please apply for your passport sooner than later. Passport processing times tend to take about 6 weeks. Make your reservations early so you can guarantee you get a seat. July can tend to be busy. Reservation desk is open until 4:30pm.

Erica Moreno

Meet Erica our Maid of Honor, the best friend, sorority little, and trusted sister! She loves musicals, Taylor Swift,&nbsp; Dancing with the Stars, reality TV shows, and has a black belt. She is an amazing special ed teacher. &#127822; She is currently going for her Masters and is extremely hardworking and dedicated. She is very kind and can strike up a coversation with anyone!

Best Man

Sean Hampton

Meet Sean our Best Man. Jordan has been friends with Sean since 5th grade (20+years) and is a true brother, family member. Sean loves anime(check out his tatoos), watching football, playing basketball, and is Cowboys fan. &#129313; He is outgoing and very easy to talk to. He has gone by the nicknames Seany and Tiny (Jordan's&nbsp; Grandma used to call him this and is far from tiny he is tall)
