Alyssa and Antonio met in December 2018 when both of their respective collegiate basketball teams were participating in a holiday tournament in Miami, Florida. It was on the last night of the tournament when their upperclassmen teammates hosted a "get together" with both men's and women's players. Alyssa's teammates knew she secretly liked Antonio so they purposefully set the two of them up so they would have to speak face to face. Well... their plan was perfectly executed. Once Antonio and Alyssa started talking they never stopped. Over the course of the next few months, they got to know each other better and realized the amount of similarities they shared like being born and raised in Pittsburgh and growing up with a love for basketball. What are the odds two people from the same city, playing the same sport, end up at the same college? Crazy, right??! 	On March 15th, 2019, Antonio finally asked Alyssa to be his girlfriend and the rest is history. The two of them have been by each others side through so many big life events like graduating college, starting new jobs, moving to different cities in the US, etc. However, through these big life events and changes, Antonio and Alyssa have always found a way to keep each other at the center of their relationship and remember why they fell in love. 	Fast forward to Summer 2023, Antonio made the decision that it was time to "pop the question." With the help of both their families, Antonio was able to coordinate a surprise proposal while Alyssa's family was vacationing on Hilton Head Island over 4th of July Weekend. After almost five years of dating, everyone knew Alyssa's answer would be "yes." 	Antonio and Alyssa are looking forward to sharing their big day with you on August 10th, 2024. Everyone should be ready to party and celebrate alongside the couple. This day has been a longtime coming :)
