How we met: Kyle and I met through mutual friends at Walleye Weekend the summer going into our sophomore and junior year! To Kyle it was love at first sight when he describes “the cute girl in her blazer driving like a maniac pulling into speedway” 😂 Throughout high school Kyle and I remained very good friends.

November 11th, 2019- The First Day. Kyle had come over to my house to hangout and brought a gillies mint shake (my favorite ice cream flavor) and written on it said “will you be my girlfriend” now every year on our anniversary we try to stop and get gillies 💚 








September 25, 2023 

The YES Day 💍
A few months prior I had finally convinced Kyle to take professional photos with me that I have been wanting for years. My first thought.. maybe he’ll propose & that’s why he finally agreed to them… 😬🫣 I told myself “2024 I think is the year he’ll propose”. The day of photos Kyle was complaining he hates pictures and wasn’t excited.. but little did I know he had been messaging our wonderful photographer for weeks prior setting this surprise up, and had sat down and got the ok from both of my parents prior! During photos I had turned around for a picture with Kyle behind me where he was going to run up and scoop me up, she wanted to count down so I’d be surprised in the photos, I remember thinking oh my gosh is he going to, but quickly changed my mind that he wasn’t gonna. After a few seconds our photographer said actually I changed my mind you can turn around and there he was on one knee asking me to marry him. I remember my heart stopping and being in pure shock.. I legit thought I was having a heart attack. The best planned pictures on my behalf, followed by the sweetest surprise from Kyle.
