There's a reason Delafield in located in what is called Lake Country. There are numerous inland lakes in this area! Lac la Belle, Pewaukee, and Nagawicka lakes each offer a public beach. Nagawicka's public beach is also a part of the Waukesha County park system, so you can hike in the park as well as go to the beach. Another option is to seek out water craft rentals, and some time on a lake. Whatever you choose, hopefully it includes some sun, sand, watersports, and cooling off in the water.
