The Story of Us

We met at North Central College and had a few classes together in 2017...

We started talking before Alyssa went on a D-Term trip to Greece and Italy. Alyssa's Trevi Fountain wish was to start dating Max by the end of winter term. Her wish came true just in time for Christmas.~ December 12th, 2017 ~..

We had our first date at Egg Harbor for breakfast.~ December 15th, 2017 ~..

We officially started dating after our second date.~ December 19th, 2017 ~..

We had our first dinner date at Maggiano's.~ January 6th, 2018 ~..

Max graduated undergrad at North Central College.~ June 9th, 2018 ~..

We celebrated our first anniversary at Sullivan's Steakhouse.~ December 19th, 2018 ~..

We went on our first vacation with Alyssa's family to Hilton Head, South Carolina.~ August 2019 ~..

We went on our first solo vacation to California.~ October 2019 ~..

We celebrated our second anniversary at Morton's Steakhouse and then walked through the Morton Arboretum light show. ~ December 19th, 2019 ~..

Alyssa virtually attended her graduation ceremony from North Central College.~ May 3rd, 2020 ~..

We went to Breckenridge, Colorado with Alyssa's family during the pandemic.~ August 2020 ~..

Alyssa took Max 4-wheeling for the first time at her family farm.~ October 11th, 2020 ~..

We celebrated our third anniversary at Features Bar and Grill's outdoor dining railcars.~ December 19th, 2020 ~..

We moved into an apartment together.~ December 30th, 2020 ~..

We visited family and friends in Florida.~ April 2021 ~

Max took Alyssa to Maggiano's for dinner, got Kilwin's for dessert, and proposed around a lake near the house he grew up in.~ April 30th, 2021 ~..

Alyssa graduated in person from North Central College a full year later and Max graduated from Roosevelt University with two master's degrees.~ May 8th, 2021 ~..

Our story doesn't end here. It is only the beginning. The rest of our life is to be continued...
