Driving Directions:

The Worcester Art Museum is located at 55 Salisbury Street, just off Route 290 and is approximately 45 minutes from Boston, 40 minutes from Providence, and 1 hour from Hartford. The Museum sits on one block. The main entrance is located on Lancaster Street with an additional barrier free entrance located on Tuckerman Street. Free parking is available at the Salisbury Street lot, off Lancaster Street in the designated WAM Visitors lot, and at the Tuckerman Street lot for barrier free entrance.

From Boston
Take Massachusetts Turnpike (Route 90) West to Exit 10A - Route 146 - Worcester. After toll turn right at light and keep left to North 146 - Worcester. Exit on right to 290 East (Shrewsbury-Marlboro). Get off at Exit 17 - Route 9 (Ware - Framingham). Left at light on West 9 /Belmont Street. Proceed to the fourth set of lights at the top of the hill. Turn right onto Harvard Street. The Museum is on the left at the second traffic light (Salisbury Street).

From Fitchburg or Leominster
Take Route 190 South to Route 290 West to Exit 18 - Lincoln Street. Bear right off the exit ramp onto Lincoln Street. Then make a quick right onto Concord Street. Concord Street will turn into Salisbury Street. At the second traffic light turn left onto Lancaster Street. The Museum is on the left.

From Hartford, CT
Take Route 84 East to Massachusetts Turnpike (Route 90) East to Exit 10 - Auburn. After the tollbooth, bear left at the fork. Take 290 East - Shrewsbury-Marlboro. Get off at Exit 17 - Route 9 (Ware - Framingham). Left at light on West 9 /Belmont Street. Proceed to the fourth set of lights at the top of the hill. Turn right onto Harvard Street. The Museum is on the left at the second traffic light (Salisbury Street).

From New Hampshire
Take Route 495 South to Route 290. Follow to Exit 18 - Lincoln Street. Bear right off the exit ramp onto Lincoln Street. Then make a quick right onto Concord Street. Concord Street will turn into Salisbury Street. At the second traffic light turn left onto Lancaster Street. The Museum is on the left.

From Providence, Millbury or Sutton
Take Route 146 to Route 290 East (Shrewsbury-Marlboro). Get off at Exit 17 - Route 9 (Ware - Framingham). Left at light on West 9 /Belmont Street. Proceed to the fourth set of lights at the top of the hill. Turn right onto Harvard Street. The Museum is on the left at the second traffic light (Salisbury Street).

From Springfield
