Q + A

Where do I fly in to?

Marsh Harbor (MHH) Airport.

How to get to Marsh Harbor?

Flights are available from Florida. Palm Beach (PBI), Fort Lauderdale (FLL), and Miami (MIA). We recommend Silver Airways and Bahamasair. If you are coming from the NY area, both Delta and American Airlines have service to Marsh Harbor. There will be one stop on either airline. Currently these flights average $600-$750 per person depending on exact itinerary.

Do I need a passport?

Yes! Please make sure you have a valid passport. The airport is small and it will be an easy experience.

How do I get to Elbow Cay?

You will need to take a short 30 min ferry from the main island of Marsh Harbor to Elbow Cay. The wedding will be on Elbow Cay. Marsh Harbor is a small airport, but you will be able to find a taxi outside. You should ask to go to the ferry to Elbow Cay. There are 2 ferry services - Albury's Ferry Service and G & L Ferry service. They are next-door to each other and either can get you there.

Where do I stay?

The parents of the bride have graciously offered to cover Friday and Saturday night of hotel for all guests! Enough rooms have been held for all guests at the Abaco Inn and the Hope Town Inn. We are still waiting for some responses, but are working on letting people know which hotel they are staying at.

When should we arrive/depart?

All guests are invited to the rehearsal dinner and wedding evening. If you'd like to stay longer than that please do! We will be planning a daytime excursion to Nipper's on Friday. It is a very cool local beach bar with lots of color on a nearby island. If you'd like to join us for this you will have to arrive on Thursday. We know many guests are already planning to arrive earlier and stay later. We don't have anything planned for those days but it is an unbelievable place with many things to do. Please reach out us if you have questions on other activities.

What should I wear?

It should a beautiful 70-80 F in the Abacos in February. The wedding will NOT be black tie, this is an island beach wedding! We expect most women to wear dresses (long or short) and most men to wear linen-style pants and a dress shirt. Both hotels have pools and we are surrounded by beaches. We would recommend bringing comfortable casual shoes in case you would like to walk around the island.

How do I get around the island?

There are NO Ubers or Taxis. We highly recommend reserving a golf cart. Golf carts are $60-$80 per day.
