Gabriel and Alyssa fatefully met on the 8th of August 2014 - it was the perfect example of being in the right place, at the right time. The two met in Manila while Gabriel was visiting extended family for the summer, and while Alyssa was pursuing a career in the culinary arts. The two instantly had a spark that couldn't be extinguished, and Gabriel courted Alyssa for the remainder of his vacation. It was love at first sight.

Gabriel and Alyssa would then pursue a long distance relationship between California, USA and Cebu, PH for the next 5 years before Gabriel decided it was time to close the distance; he proposed on the 7th of April 2019 with their closest family and friends present in Cebu.

The couple had initially planned an 18th of July 2020 wedding until the pandemic struck the world. Gabriel and Alyssa decided to postpone their special day to a later date and waited patiently for the world to heal. Now, they are very excited to start this new chapter together as husband and wife with the ones they hold dear. Love truly wins.
