Let's take it back to the beginning of 2018- Alyssa had just gotten back from studying abroad in London and was already planning her senior year college spring break trip. Her parents were not thrilled that she was planning a trip to Cancun, Mexico but Alyssa convinced them that since she hadn't been on a spring break trip any other year of college, she should be allowed to go. Fast forward a few months later to one of the first nights of the trip Alyssa &amp; Jacob meet in a dark, crowded night club thanks to some mutual friends chatting nearby and the rest is history!&nbsp; Since then, Alyssa &amp; Jacob both graduated from the University of Delaware in May of 2018 and Jacob already had plans to pursue a Master's Degree at Florida State University. After 1.5 years and a lot of flights between New Jersey and Florida, Alyssa moved down to Tallahassee to spend Jacob's final year of school together in their first apartment. After Jacob's graduation in May 2020, in the middle of COVID, Alyssa &amp; Jacob decided to continue their life in Florida and move to Fort Lauderdale, a place that quickly won their hearts. They spent 3 years in a beautiful high-rise building, along the river, close to all of the restaurants, bars and hotels downtown had to offer. In 2023, Alyssa &amp; Jacob bought their own condo in Deerfield Beach and after a beautiful engagement on a cold New York City evening in Central Park at Christmas time, the wedding planning began!&nbsp; It was an easy decision to get married in Florida, a place that now felt like home, and a destination that family and friends can travel to just when the winter blues start kicking in. The Riverside Hotel, located on Las Olas Boulevard is just steps away from where we spent most of our time. We cannot wait to share a piece of Fort Lauderdale with you and celebrate in the place we truly grew the most as a couple!&nbsp;
