Beginning this year, Europe is now requiring travelers to fill out a European Travel Information and Authorization System (ETIAS) this is essentially a pre screening check to enter the country. The cost is 7 euros or about 8 USD. A valid passport that is good for 3 months past travel dates (for our wedding passports must be good until October 2024)

There are taxis at the Palermo airport that will drive you from there to Castellammare. There are NO taxis in Castellammare del Golfo. You can rent a car before leaving the airport.

There are currently no direct flights to Palermo, Sicily. You will have to fly into Rome (or another part of Italy or Europe)

Depends on what you are planning to do this trip and where you’re staying. If you are staying in town, a car is not necessarily needed.
