Kit and Alyssa met at a pool party in 2021, where Kit immediately tried to win her over with his sense of humor. She dodged his attempt to hangout by hosting a chili cook off, but his persistence and charm paid off. Once she agreed to hangout, they were instantly inseparable.

They survived a two-hour-distance relationship and then made the decision to begin building a beautiful life as a family in West Des Moines with Alyssa's amazing children, Jayce and Ryder.

On May 25, 2024, Kit proposed! The rest is history in the making, and they can't wait to celebrate with everyone who's been part of their journey.
