Alyssa and Jacob met at Baldwin Wallace University in their freshman year through mutual friends. Both active in college sports, they found themselves attending a lot of the same parties. They started dating in April, 2018. Soon after, the happy couple became a happy family when Buster joined them in August, 2018. An addition that initially didn't thrill Jacob, but you would never know that now. Buster got really used to riding in the car back and forth between Beech Street and Daisy Avenue. He also made his share of trips between Ohio and South Carolina on holidays and semester breaks. Buster became quite the travel companion.

Alyssa convinced Jacob to join her in Greenville for the summer of 2019. Jacob worked for Greenville Country Club. In 2020 with Covid in full swing, they both stayed put in Cleveland. After college graduations for both of them, Alyssa in 2020 and Jacob in 2021, they packed the U-Haul, headed South and both officially became residents of Greenville, South Carolina, in May, 2021.

They built their first home in Greer (neighboring suburb of Greenville) and on December 23, 2021 (the day they moved in) Jacob got down on one knee and proposed. Alyssa's response was 'Yes! OMG I've been waiting'. Well, yes she had been waiting, but Jacob is one of the most patient people you will meet. It was worth the wait and he managed to surprise the one person who loves to spoil surprises.

While there was no shortage of love between them, they weren't in love with their new neighborhood and decided to take advantage of the housing bubble and put their house on the market. One open house and SOLD, then the market tanked. Timing is everything and they got lucky, very lucky.

Now experts in the building process, they built their second home and moved in this March, 2023. This one feels like home, and will easily accommodate all the babies Alyssa hopes to have! Alyssa and Jacob are each other's best friend, and share a mutual love of each other and their life together. You won't see sappy displays of affection from either of them, but don't let that fool you. Their love runs deep and they know there isn't anything they wouldn't do for each other.

Alyssa and Jacob look forward to sharing their special day with each and every one of you. Being present to help them make a memory of a lifetime means everything to them.
