Please arrive to the ceremony 15 to 30 minutes before it starts. This will give you plenty of time to catch up with other guests before the ceremony starts.

We love your children, but due to space restrictions we cannot accommodate guests under age 18 on our wedding day. We appreciate your understanding.

This will be dependent on the weather the day of, but we are hoping the ceremony and cocktail hour will take place outside while the reception will be inside. We do have the option to adjust to have everything inside if the weather does not look comfortable.

Transportation will be provided from the hotel, The Highland Lake Resort, to the ceremony and then back to the hotel after the reception. The shuttle will make a stop in Knights Hill for the guests that are staying there both on the way there and back.

Yes. When you turn into the venue you drive down a long dirt driveway, toward the end of the driveway there will be a large parking lot on your right.

Yes. We have booked a room block at the Highland Lake Resort in Bridgton, Maine. Call to book a room and tell them you are with the McFarland & Burkhart wedding to get a room in the block. This is the hotel that will have shuttles to and from the wedding.

Yes, you are welcome to take pictures, but please make sure your phone and/or camera is on silent so it does not distract from the ceremony.
