We first met at Bruce and Lexi Huber’s wedding on June 18, 2022. Austin noticed Alyssa laughing over cake with her friend Shana Jordahl (Austin’s cousin), and Shana introduced them. Later that night, during the anniversary dance, Austin asked Alyssa for her Snapchat — and he hasn’t stopped talking to her since.

Austin asked Alyssa to be his girlfriend on Wednesday, 9/28/2022, over FaceTime just before she headed into work. That Saturday, Alyssa took Austin to his first concert—Thomas Rhett—where they danced, sang along, and celebrated the start of their life together.
