Cam and I met in 2014, right when I was heading off to college. I lived in Ohio and he was located in Massachusetts. I was with a friend on a video chat website called Omegal, we were scrolling through video chat after video chat just trying to find someone to talk to. Finally, we come across Cam's video and my friend was going to skip past him but I told her no. He seemed like a nice guy to talk to and was very funny. Cam and I talked until 3 am and I had to get off because I was heading out to move into my new college dorm. He refused to let me go without giving him my number and so I gave him my number. When Cam and I first met, I was already in a relationship with another man, which Cam knew about. When I moved out to my college dorm, my boyfriend at the time barely talk to me, let alone texted to check in with how I was doing, but Cam every morning texted me "Good morning beautiful" with flower and heart emojis and video called me every night. Eventually I broke up with my boyfriend at the time and we started flirting and becoming more of a thing. We slightly faded away during his senior year of high school, but on my 20th birthday we reconnected. We have been together for 7 wonderful years and for many more years to come.
