We sincerely thank everyone who is traveling to Colorado for our special day.
We understand that Montrose can be a challenging destination, but it was important to the bride and groom to be close enough for Connor's many colleagues from the police department to join us.
There are several ways to reach Montrose! Montrose has its own regional airport, and the Grand Junction Regional Airport is just an hour north. Although it's a bit farther, Denver International Airport is about a 4.5-hour drive away, offering a beautiful scenic route.
Is the wedding indoors or outdoors?
Storm King Mountain Ranch spans 200 acres. If the Colorado weather cooperates, the ceremony will be held outdoors, followed by an indoor reception. However, the barn is spacious enough to accommodate both the ceremony and reception indoors if the weather changes.
What time should I arrive?
We kindly request that all guests arrive by 3:45 PM on our wedding day. This will ensure everyone is seated and settled before the ceremony begins. Thank you for being punctual and helping us start our special day on time!
What should I wear?
Western Formal or Cocktail!
We invite our guests to combine the elegance of cocktail attire with the rustic charm of Western style. Dresses and
Suits paired with cowboy boots, bolo ties, buckles, and or cowboy hats are encouraged!
What will the weather be like?
In September, Colorado offers beautiful, pleasant weather, making it an ideal time for an outdoor wedding. Daytime temperatures usually range from the mid-60s to mid-70s (°F), providing a comfortable atmosphere for our celebration. However, evenings can get cooler, with temperatures often dropping into the 40s and 50s. We recommend bringing a light jacket or shawl to stay warm as the sun sets.
Since mountain weather can be unpredictable, please check the forecast closer to the date and come prepared for any changes.
