Alyssa and Parker’s love story all began from a friends thanksgiving during the year of 2020, which is the best thing that happened to the both of us! Parker was working at Akrs in Seward, NE then shortly started working at Midwest Petroleum in Lincoln, NE. While Alyssa was going to college at Concordia, University studying Art Education then later switched her major to Graphic Design. As well as while Alyssa was going to college at Concordia University she was working at the Seward Walmart. The way Parker treated others around Alyssa, not just how Parker treated Alyssa (like a queen), it was similar to the way Alyssa saw Parker treating others which made Alyssa extremely happy but it also was a reflection on who Parker is not just to Alyssa but to other people! Parker is such a hardworking, trustworthy, genuine soul! Hes a huge Minnesota Vikings fan! I would say Alyssa is quirky, creative, and hardworking. Together we just work or click so well together.
In the year of 2021, it was a big step in Alyssa and Parker’s relationship when Parker asked Alyssa to move in with Parker, at his apartment in Lincoln, she said yes! Well Alyssa and Parker were living at the apartment Parker gave Alyssa a promise ring that someday we would be getting married. Parker is still working at Midwest Petroleum and Alyssa is still working at Walmart and going to Concordia University. While living together in the apartment we really wanted a pet since we both love animals, we got a snake, named it Hades. Hades is a banana bee ball python and then shortly got a veiled chameleon, named it Griffon. Also during the year of 2021, we moved in with Parker’s mom Carrie while the apartment balcony was getting fixed, while we were there we really wanted another snake, so we got one and named Aries, he was a super pastel highway ball python. Lastly, Parker and Alyssa both love music a lot, so we went to a few concerts together!
During the beginning of the year of 2022, Griffon passed away. It was a really tough time for Alyssa, it was a really big loss since Alyssa loved him so much, Parker was there when she needed him the most, so very thankful! Later in that year of 2022, Parker and Alyssa moved to a house that they were renting, which was really exciting! We went on our first vacation together in Colorado, we got to see some amazing sites, like the Denver Zoo and Aquarium! Parker and Alyssa grew their reptile family even more. We got our third snake, Loki. Hes a spider ball python. As well as Alyssa got a panther chameleon, named Zaria. Then we went on another trip with Parker’s dad Heath and his girlfriend Erin, we went to New Orleans well that was an experience and adventure. After that trip we got our fourth snake, Athena, our first girl snake. Parker and Alyssa went to a few more concerts together, we had a blast!
In the beginning of the year 2023, Alyssa and Parker went on their first trip with Alyssa’s family. We went to Kansas city to see the Chiefs and the Broncos play each other. But in a relationship you have to be ready for the worst and best times of each others lives, unfortunately we got to experience a lot sooner than hoped. I knew we would make it through the hard times together. But Parkers mom, Carrie passed away in the year of 2023. Its been tough but we made it together! Then we took in a chinchilla named Remus that was Parker’s moms favorite animal that she had, however originally it was Parker’s but he gave it to his mom since she loved him so much. During the summer of 2023, Alyssa did an internship at North Printing and Office Supply for about three months. Parker started working at Safelite, which he really enjoyed working there. In the summer of 2023, Parker and Alyssa rescued a kitten outside our house and took her in, named her Gulliver! Finally, Alyssa graduates from Concordia University in December 2023 becomes a Concordia University Alumni.
During the year of 2024, Parker decided to buy the house that we were renting and now we made it our home together. In addition, we got another cat Plump to be Gulliver’s best friend. Yay! November 3, 2024 while Alyssa and Parker were at Vala’s Pumpkin Patch picking apples he finally proposed and Alyssa said Yes! She was so surprised! During Christmas of 2024 Parker surprised Alyssa with a puppy, a beagle and named it Mazey Mae. Currently, Parker works at Seneca, he really enjoys working there. I currently work at North Printing and Office Supplies as a Graphic Designer along with working at Walmart occasionally. Additionally we both love animals, seeing the world, and lastly being creative! Parker really loves creating concepts or ideas out of wood we have thought about starting up our own wood business, hopefully in a couple years down the road we will finally be able to start that dream of ours! I would be doing some wood burning etching. Who we are as a couple is the biggest concept that speaks volumes, in the way Parker and I communicate in our relationship! We truly believe that’s the way to have a healthy and happy relationship! Now, 2025!
