Our story began in the Spring of 2013.

Growing up in a small town does have it’s advantages... Ultimately this is the reason you all are reading this today. A true modern day romance story courtesy of the World Wide Web and Facebook..

After seeing Alyssa a few times in all of small town Lock Havens " hot spots", David found his way into Alyssa’s DM’s… scandalous I know. After talking for a few days they decided on a long walk on the Lock Haven levee to see what each other had to offer. Needless to say things went very well for the two of them.

For Alyssa’s birthday, David showed up at her parents house with a bouquet of flowers, shook her fathers hand and hugged her mother. From that moment she knew David was going to be a very important person in her life.

Alyssa went to nursing school and started a life and career of her own, where David moved out West to explore and find his passion as well as his career.

However far the distance, the two of them kept in touch. Whether it was a simple text message during holidays, or for one another's birthday. They always managed to stay connected.

After several years without seeing each other due to the different paths they chose, David and Alyssa managed to finally spend some time together, re-igniting that spark. With Alyssa living in Lancaster and David in State College, they spent every weekend together thereafter. Going to concerts, Penn State football games, fly fishing shows, countless breweries, as well as time spent with family and friends.

On April 29th 2022, after 10 long years (According to Alyssa) David took Alyssa to one of his favorite fishing spots to "check the stream conditions" for a guide trip David had to take the next morning. Little did Alyssa know.. David planned on asking her to spend the rest of her life with him. Obviously things went as planned or you wouldn't be reading this!

The two of them later enjoyed a nice evening on the tailgate of David's truck drinking beer & calling all of their close friends and family to share the wonderful news!!
