This is our favorite restaurant in the Dilworth neighborhood of Charlotte. If you go, make sure you try the French Onion Soup - it's the best around! Dilworth also has many cute bakeries and boutiques to check out.

Mellow Mushroom's pizza is out of this world! They offer gluten free and vegan options. Alyssa's favorite pizza is the Funky Q. Chicken and Ashton's favorite is the Holy Shiitake. There is also a full bar inside, as well as an outdoor patio...and they are right across the street from Romare Bearden Park!

If you are looking for a variety of food, drinks, and local retail options, check out this indoor market. We highly recommend Orrman's Cheese Shop!

Just outside of Uptown Charlotte, Optimist Hall is one of our favorite places to spend the day! There are tons of restaurants, shops, and bars inside and lots of indoor and outdoor seating.

If you are looking for something sweet, there is no place better than Amélie's! Their baked goods and coffee options are unbeatable. There are two locations in Charlotte, but the one on 36th Street is our favorite.

Stick around town and watch the Panthers play the Buccaneers at 1pm the day after our wedding!
