Q + A

Are children welcome to attend the ceremony + reception?

As much as we love your little ones, this will be an adults-only celebration. We hope this advance notice means you’re able to let your hair down and celebrate with us on the day!

What is the dress code?

We ask that our guests wear cocktail attire or formal attire. Examples -- Men in suits with a tie or nice slacks with a dressier button up, tie and jacket. Women can wear a nice dress whether it be knee length to floor length. If you are looking for a reason to dress a little fancier this is your chance! Whatever you do, do not stress :) No need to go out and find a floor length gown. Wear what makes you feel the best so we can celebrate all night long!

What can I do in between the ceremony and reception?

There are many places around the Millstadt/Columbia area! Some places are as follows-- Millstadt: Millpond Brewing, Spike's, Ott's. Columbia: Tiny's, Washy's, Top Shooters.

Where is the wedding ceremony?

St. James Catholic Church in Millstadt, IL. 405 W Madison St Millstadt, IL 62260 at 2:30 in the afternoon.

Where is the reception?

The Turner Hall in Columbia, IL. 211 E Cherry St Columbia, IL 62236

When does the reception end?

11:00 p.m.

How do we RSVP?

Mail in our RSVP with the prepaid envelope or on The Knot. Please reach out if you have any questions!

Will there be an open bar?

Beer, wine, water, and soda will be provided. Please know that any other drinks you purchase will require cash. There is an ATM located in the bar. Cocktail hour will begin at 5:30 p.m. and dinner to follow at 6:30.

What if I RSVP'd 'attending' but can no longer attend?

No worries! Your presence will be missed but we understand life happens. Please reach out to the bride or groom if you need to change your status.
