Billy and Alyssa were set up by a mutual friend in spring of 2021. Shortly after, Alyssa found out she was accepted into grad school at UW-Madison, and signed a lease to live at Babcock House, not knowing that Billy already lived there. The rest is history.

Billy proposed on the swinging bridge in River Falls during a road trip to visit friends and family in Minnesota and Wisconsin.
