Our Wedding

Blake and Alyssa met through mutual friends one summer night in Chico, CA. Alyssa went to some of Blake’s rugby matches with her friend Erika who just so happened to be dating Blake's roommate David and the two slowly became friends. Blake made the first move at the infamous rugby house one night after hanging out at Riley’s Bar in Chico. From then on, the two were inseparable. From happy hour date nights at Crush, Oktoberfest at Sierra Nevada, bar hopping with friends, weekend trips, rugby games, Blake decided to make things official on a winter trip to Lake Tahoe with their friends, Katy and Jarrod. After many trips back and forth from Fairfield to Chico, Blake finally graduated from Chico and moved back home to Pleasanton with Alyssa living in Fairfield. In June of 2018, they moved into a tiny apartment together in their current hometown of Livermore, CA. After one year there, they finally bought a house in March of 2020. The house became a home after welcoming their beloved Golden Retriever, Maverick, into the family. On June 5, 2021, Blake decided to surprise Alyssa on a trip to Chico with a proposal! The couple went to watch their friend Jarrod perform at a local bar, La Salles. This weekend in Chico just happened to be extremely hot and Alyssa was not excited to be dragged onto campus by her friend Lauren to “take photos for her new job.” Little did Alyssa know, Blake would get down on one knee and ask her to marry him! Alyssa was so surprised and the surprise continued on with family and friends showing up to dinner for an impromptu engagement party. Over the last 4 ½ years, the couple has grown together and created a beautiful life in Livermore. They fit right in with each other’s families and are excited to officially become the Clarks! Blake and Alyssa are so excited to celebrate their wedding day with each and every one of you.
