Flights
We recommend flying into either San Jose Mineta International Airport (SJC ~1 hour away) or San Francisco International Airport (SFO ~2 hours away).
Monterey Regional Airport (MRY - 14 minutes away) is another option and technically the closest airport but can be hard to find flights and expensive to fly into. If you're staying at the Hyatt Regency Monterey Hotel (see below for more deets), the hotel provides a complimentary shuttle service to and from MRY from 7:15 am– 11 pm daily. Getting to Carmel
Airport Shuttle
Groome Transportation (formally Monterey Airbus) provides a convenient and reliable service from SJC/SFO to Monterey starting at $48 per person (free for children 3 & under and 50% for additional passengers through June 30). From Monterey, it's usually a 5-10 minute rideshare drive to reach most parts of Carmel. See their website below for more information.
Driving
If you decide to rent a car or drive down, we recommend taking CA-1 S for a gorgeous drive down the coast of Northern California. See google map routes from SFO and SJC for routing instructions.
Note: The above SFO route adds ~30 extra minutes to the normal route but is worth the extra time as you get to see some of our favorite Nor Cal beach gems such as Half Moon Bay and Santa Cruz. Santa Cruz's boardwalk is free admission and it has rides, attractions, food, and shopping that's fun for all ages. If you have time to spare, we recommend making a pit stop for a few hours to enjoy!

Hyatt Regency Monterey Hotel And Spa On Del Monte Golf Course
We are offering a room block here, with a limited number of rooms available at a discounted rate of $319 per night including resort fee. Our wedding shuttle will also pick-up and drop-off at this location.
