Our Wedding

Our story isn’t just about how we met. It’s about everything that led us here.It’s about healing, faith, and the kind of love that finds you when you least expect it. When we first met, neither of us was looking for love. We had both found peace after difficult chapters, and we were content just learning to breathe again. We each promised ourselves that if love ever came back into our lives, it would have to be something extraordinary, something worth the peace we had worked so hard to find. And then, of all places, our paths crossed at Starbucks. There was something unexplainable about that moment, like the world slowed down and everything around us faded. It felt as if rays of sunshine were radiating between us, whispering,&nbsp;“This is it.”&nbsp;He didn’t ask her out that day, but he showed up again the very next day at the same time, hoping to see her. And he did. From that moment, everything unfolded naturally. There was no rush, just two people learning to trust again, laugh again, and build something real. Our love grew from gentleness and gratitude, and with time, it became our safe place. Together, we’ve built a life grounded in faith, laughter, and unconditional love for each other and for our little family. Our journey hasn’t been perfect, but it’s been beautiful. Every challenge, every healing moment, every shared dream has led us here, to this season of celebration surrounded by those we love most. This wedding isn’t just about saying&nbsp;“I do.”&nbsp;It’s about honoring everything it took to get here, the strength, the hope, and the second chances that made it all possible. We’re endlessly grateful to be here, to have found one another, and to share our story as a reminder that love always finds its way, often right when you’ve stopped searching.

We have the entire compound to ourselves for the weekend! Families will be staying in one of the six small cottages or the large main house. Each small cottage has its own bathroom, kitchenette, fireplace, porch, bedding and towels. The main house also has a living room, full kitchen, dining area and patio.

﻿Children will have access to a swing set on the big lawn as well as various other lawn games and board games in the main house and game barn. Please keep in mind that a small river flows through the compound and next to the main house. There is also a fenced pool that will be closed due to the season.
