Kyle Behring & Amanda Allen first met in the Fall of 2013, during the week of their orientation for their freshman year at CU Boulder. Kyle & Amanda lived on separate ends of the second floor of the Hallet Hall dorms. Amanda came by Kyle’s dorm room, which was almost always open, and struck up a conversation, and the two quickly became friends.

Kyle & Amanda would often walk to class together, get coffee between classes, or share meals at the Center For Community (“C4C”) across from their dorm hall. When summer came, the two exchanged texts while they were apart, and in the Fall of 2014, the pair began dating officially.

In the Summer of 2017, after graduation, both moved back to the San Francisco Bay Area -- Kyle moved back to Danville, CA, and Amanda moved to Walnut Creek, CA, living with her Aunt and Uncle, Nancy and Norman Friedman. In August of 2018, Kyle & Amanda took their relationship to the next level and moved in together into an apartment in Walnut Creek, CA, where they reside today.

On September 30, 2023, during a trip to San Diego to celebrate their 9th anniversary together, Kyle proposed to Amanda at Coronado Beach.
