Amanda and Bailey her bridesmaid became friends in 5th grade through a dance team they were both on. However, bailey got news that her family was moving to Milnor ND for her dads work after 7th grade year finished. So during the summers from 8th grade all the way through senior year, Amanda and a couple other friends would go visit bailey in Milnor. This is where Alex comes into the picture briefly :) Alex was friends with baileys brothers so they were often hanging out when Amanda and her friends would go visit during the summers.

Fast forward a few years to college in 2019. Bailey and Amanda had gotten an apartment together! On one weekend where they were both free, they decided to go back to Milnor to watch one of baileys brothers football games. Cue Alex. Baileys oldest brother Hunter had also invited Alex to come hangout and watch the football game. There they all got to talking and Amanda and Alex got to know each other a little better. Later on that evening, Bailey and Amanda had some funny shirts they had made to initially announce Baileys pregnancy but the boys decided to wear them instead. Amanda was able to grab a picture and use that as a opening to get to talk to Alex more.

After reaching out to Alex about the picture, the two got to talking more, and only after a couple weeks of hanging out, they went on a date! Fast forward 6 years to today exactly from when Alex asked Amanda to be his girlfriend, They're now joining together in marriage and pursuing what life has in store for them together :)
