It all started in 2015...

A girl gets hired as a host/helper at a local restaurant. Now that's not the interesting part. Meanwhile in 2015 A boy is working in a wood shop staining wood. They never met that year.

In 2016 both of them had the same class for Spanish. While she would run to the bathroom so fast her hair would go "whoosh whoosh whoosh" all the way down the hall. He was attempting to learn the rules for past conjugations. Although they had this class together they didn't really meet.

Not until 2017 when a boy named Taylor got hired at a little restaurant in town where a girl named Amanda worked. Taylor only worked at the restaurant for close to 3 months, quitting just before February was up in 2018. That could have been the end of the story right there. But love works in mysterious ways.

That same year the annual Dart Wars tournament was taking place. Amanda needed a team and Taylor needed a team. Fortunately for both of them their friend Hans needed two more players! Both Taylor and Amanda jumped at the opportunity to join the team! Dart Wars lasted from March until April. During these two months Amanda and Taylor would join up in the early morning to go attack the enemies. As they spent time together and got closer Taylor really wanted to continue to hang out with Amanda. So he invited her to be a Lifeguard at the pool he worked at. She agreed and they worked together again! By coincidence Taylor also happened to win a brand new iPhone because he got Amanda hired... (No she has not let that go.)

Amanda kept surprising Taylor with everything she did to make him feel special. The first big thing that she did that really made his day feel amazing was show up to his Graduation Party with only 15-20 minutes left. She got him a gift that day too, it was $2.00. Taylor kept hoping and hoping she would come and she made it a point to be there even though she had been on her way home from her family lake trip that same day. (June 10th, 2018).

From that day forward Taylor invited Amanda to 3 movies: Cars 3, Tag which we have been playing ever sense, (Taylor is it...) and finally, Bumblebee. Now during this time Taylor thought that the first movie was the first date. But he was wrong; at the pool his friend Sean had asked him if they were dating, he thought yes, she said no because he "hadn't asked her out on a real date." So the next shift Taylor and Amanda were hanging out after work and Taylor was dropping Amanda off at about 11:00 PM Taylor finally asking Amanda to go out with him. To which she replied YES!

Their first "official" date was to Montgomery Inn on July 7th, 2018. They sat outside at a table on the patio for about 45 minutes before realizing they wouldn't be served outside. :)

After our first date, Taylor knew that Amanda was the one for him and Amanda knew Taylor was the one for her.

1,464 memorable days later until June 13th, 2022 after Taylor bought the perfect ring when they were traveling to a perfect place. Taylor found the perfect spot at the perfect golden hour with the perfect girl. He got down on one knee and asked that beautiful girl from the small local restaurant to marry him. She said YES!

763 Days from that date, (A LONG TIME COMING) (August 3rd, 2024) These two will say "I do" and live the rest of their lives happily ever after.
