Our Wedding

It all began when Amanda and James crossed paths at Juan Y Los Tres Mexican Restaurant in Walterboro, SC on August 4, 2022. From the moment they laid eyes on each other, there was an undeniable connection. Amanda was instantly smitten by James, finding him both charming and sweet. As for James, he was captivated by Amandas beautiful smile and pretty eyes, sensing that she was truly special. Their initial encounter sparked a desire to know each other better. A couple of days later, James took a leap and sent Amanda a friend request on Facebook, which she reluctantly accepted. What ensued was a series of heartfelt conversations, building a strong bond despite only meeting twice before their first date. After a few rescheduled plans, they finally had their magical first date on October 14, 2022, at The Waterfront Restaurant in Edisto. They dined together, allowing their connection to deepen, and later spent the evening stargazing on the beach. Amanda had warned James that night that he would fall in love with her, and her intuition proved true. Despite facing some challenges early on, they realized their destiny was intertwined and made their relationship official on December 1, 2022. March brought them a new home, and by December 2023, they welcomed their son, sealing their love for each other even more. Then came a heartwarming proposal in April 2024. James took Amanda back to the place where it all began, and under the starlit sky, he dropped down on one knee, asking her to be his wife. With tears of joy, she said YES, playfully reminding him of her earlier prediction. James lovingly told her, You were right, sweetheart. Their journey has been filled with ups and downs, but through it all, Amanda and James have built an unbreakable bond based on love and appreciation. As they embark on this new chapter of their lives, their love story serves as a reminder that true love always finds its way.

Our ceremony will begin promptly at 5:00 PM. Please allow enough time for parking and locating your seat. We want to make sure everyone is settled in before we say I DO!

What time should I arrive for the ceremony?

We are having an unplugged ceremony. This means we are asking for all phones and devices to be turned off and put away during the ceremony. We have hired an amazing photographer, to capture this moment for all of us! We want her to have plenty of room to move around and get the amazing photos we’re paying her for. After the ceremony is over, feel free to take as many photos as you want!

AM I ALLOWED TO TAKE PHOTOS DURING THE CEREMONY?

Our dress code is semi-formal attire. Our colors are dusty shades of blue. Please do not wear any shade of white. (Men may wear white button down shirts)

WHAT IS THE DRESS CODE?

If your invitation includes a plus one, you may. We will have to turn in numbers for our caterer and after 2/15 there will be no room for adjustments.

CAN I BRING A PLUS ONE?

You may bring your children if they’re included on your invitation, but you are responsible for watching them at all times.

Are children welcomed?

Please help us have a successful day and RSVP via our wedding site by the date specified on your invitation. If you do forget, please let us know as soon as possible.

What if I forget to RSVP?

The ceremony and cocktail hour will be held outside, weather permitting. The reception will take place inside. In the case of inclement weather, the entire event will be moved to a sheltered area at the location provided.

IS THE WEDDING INDOORS OR OUTDOORS?

If you are uploading any of your photos to social media, make sure to use our hashtag #AisleGoWithJones. There will also be QR codes scattered throughout the reception area that will allow you to share your pictures with everyone!

How can I share photos I took at the wedding?

Yes! The venue has a parking lot for wedding guests.

WILL THERE BE PARKING AT THE VENUE?

We completely understand that unexpected things happen. Please let us know as soon as your plans change so we can make the necessary updates to allow for things to run as smoothly as possible on our wedding day.

WHAT SHOULD I DO IN THE EVENT I AM NO LONGER ABLE TO ATTEND?

Yes. We will be serving beer, wine, and signature cocktails during cocktail hour, as well as throughout the reception. We will also have non-alcoholic options. Please feel free to bring your own choice beverage for the reception if you choose to do so. 

Will alcohol be served at the wedding?

There is absolutely NO smoking allowed at the venue. If you need to smoke, please step into the parking area and use designated cigarette receptacles.
