Dave and I were destined to cross paths when he was hired at Chili’s, though it almost didn’t happen that way! Lucky for me, he first tried to get a job at Friday’s, but according to Dave, the manager there had a strict policy: never hire someone better looking than him. 😆🤣

About a year later, I found myself needing a new job after my previous employers closed their doors. I got hired at Chili’s and instantly became friends with David! He was quiet, reserved, and a total hard worker while I was loud, fiery, and just as hardworking… just with a little extra flair. 😄

Like the classic "friends fall in love rom coms", we took a break from making fun of each other and talking sports to realize that we may actually LIKE each other! 😲 Our first date was to a weird restaurant that Dave won a gift card to, and I will never let him forget that haha!

Our love continued to grow, and we began to blend our beautiful families together to share in that love. ❤️ Both of us gaining an extra son, Dashawn and Kai, will forever be the best bonus gift we could ever receive. We love you two!

Somehow, we still liked each other—even after working side by side for years! We just flowed, both in life and at work. 😊 “Opposites attract” definitely applies to us—we’re yin and yang in all the best ways. But at our core, we’ve always been the same where it counts. (That said, I’m still the better bartender. Sorry, Dave.) 🍸😉

& what an incredible choice that turned out to be! On this day, we welcomed Mia Lynn Miles to the Britt/Miles crew!!
