Our Wedding

Our story began in October of 2017. Amanda was living in Dallas at the time, while she taught first grade at a local charter school. Luckily, Kevin was also living in the Dallas, as he decided to pursue a postbaccalaureate program at UTD last minute. We met in a pretty boring way, but our first date was something super special that we still love to look back on. In short, we had initially met for drinks, but we were having such a good time getting to know each other that our date ended up lasting 7 hours! We continued to date and eventually moved in together in July, 2019 when Kevin began medical school in Edinburg, Texas. Fast-forward to May of 2021, Kevin finally proposed to Amanda at Lake 22 in Seattle, Washington! From then until now, we have been anxiously waiting for this special day that we are asking you to celebrate with us. Over the years, we've gone through a lot! Long distance...moving in together in a place so different and far from everything and everyone we both knew...being each other's support system as Kevin progressed through medical school and Amanda worked towards, applied, and started PA school...and then long distance again. We have been through losses and hardship together, but also celebration, success, and pure happiness. We have grown so much as a couple and have also gotten to watch each other grow as individuals, something we both find so special. We have become so much more than just lovers--we are truly best friends and our love for each other continues to grow every day. We both are so excited to start this new chapter of our lives, as husband and wife!

We have blocked out rooms at the Hampton Inn &amp; Suites Cedar Park North Austin, one of the hotels nearest to the venue. By booking a room under our name, you will receive a special rate for any nights Wednesday-Saturday.&nbsp;

ONE VERY IMPORTANT DETAIL:

There will be an option to add an additional $50 to your rate for Saturday night for transportation services to and from the venue. We HIGHLY encourage you to take advantage of this option if you plan on drinking. The roads leading to the venue are SUPER windy, and do not have any lighting. Apparently it is also nearly impossible to get an Uber or Lyft leaving the venue—we have heard of people having to wait hours.&nbsp; There will be limited seating on the shuttles, and it will be first-come first-serve. If you decide you would like to use the shuttle service, let either myself (Amanda), Kevin, Regina Bumagny, or Brenda Orellana know and the extra $50 will be billed to your room.
